iZoo: Record High Score
In my quest to obtain higher scores playing iZoo, today I managed to obtain a new personal best: 351,795. My previous high score was something like 265k points. I decided to do a screen capture so that I could preserve this moment of glory. After all, it may be weeks or months or... maybe never before I get a higher score.
History of Scrabble
Scrabble was invented by an out-of-work architect named Alfred Butts. It was trademarked in 1948.
Few games were sold until the president of Macy's department store in New York City found the game on vacation and ordered it for his store, converting it from an underground craze to a cultural icon. Since then, more than 100 million games of Scrabble have been sold worldwide.
Between 1 million and 2 million are sold annually in North America.
