If you’ve read the manuscript for my upcoming Carrie Bloomfield novel “Uncontacted Frontier” you’ll know the Harpy Eagle figures prominently in the story plot:
“Uncontacted Frontier” Accepted for Publication
I received good news earlier in the week: Moonshine Cove Publishing accepted my manuscript Uncontacted Frontier for publication. It will be the third book in the Carrie Bloomfield series of scientific mystery novels. I’m estimating it will be produced in spring/summer of 2020.

“Uncontacted Frontier” Reading at Mystery Writers of America
On June 12, I was afforded the opportunity read a brief excerpt from my upcoming Carrie Bloomfield mystery novel, Uncontacted Frontier at a meeting of the New England chapter of Mystery Writers of America in Brookline. Approximately a dozen writers read from recently published works and works-in-progress. The sessions were video-taped; I hope the footage is made available for posting.
Slugging Along
I added another 5,000 words this past week to my work-in-press, Uncontacted Frontier, the third in the series of Carrie Bloomfield novels. I’m currently up to around 24,400 words total.
New Sequel in the Carrie Bloomfield Novel Series: “Uncontacted Frontier”
I’ve begun writing the third book in the Carrie Bloomfield series of scientific murder-mystery novels, with the working title Uncontacted Frontier:
Scientist-turned-entrepreneur Carrie Bloomfield is caught up in adventure and intrigue when she goes on an expedition to the Amazon in Brazil to collect fauna and flora for potentially promising pharmaceuticals.
I’ll sit down face-to-face with a literary agent, pitch my manuscript and obtain feedback at the upcoming Muse & the Marketplace Writers Conference.
