Come by the Watertown Arts Market on August 19, 2023 in Filippello Park, East Watertown (near Grove Street and Coolidge Avenue) and hear local Watertown poets and writers read. In addition to readings, several authors will have their books for sale. There will also be arts & crafts on display by local artisans.

F-Bomb reading on August 4, 2023 with featured reader Sandra Arnold in New Zealand. My flash readings begin 1:01:29 into the video.
My spouse, Ariel Cohen, and I attended the Somerville Writers and Readers Winter Market at the Somerville Library on Saturday, March 11, 2023. It was billed as serving up “locally sourced, organically grown literature:”
“Here’s your chance to meet several local Somerville authors, hear readings from their work, discover some fantastic literature, talk with writers and readers about book groups, writing groups and more. Come browse, borrow, or buy books by your neighbors and friends! Refreshments will be served.”
Denise Provost (of Bagel Bards fame) moderated the event, which also featured Lloyd Schwartz, Pulitzer Prize winner and poet laureate of Somerville. (Notice I spelled “Pulitzer” correctly? ;-))
Other readers included:
- Dave Ortega, graphic novelist
- Denise Provost, poet
- Lesley Bannatyne, short story author
- Kevin M. McIntosh, novelist
As cliché as it sounds, a good time was had by all!
