A Thin Slice of Anxiety has accepted my “tall tale” fishing story entitled “The One That Got Away” for publication on its web site.
I will say that “Thin Slice” have a very interesting About page: “A Thin Slice of Anxiety is an independent publication which strives to nurture and promote the best up-and-coming writers of our generation. Writers who are brave enough to guide us into places of amalgamation where the unplumbed depths of the known are made and unmade. Encouraging us to explore the amaranthine abyss and ruthless shadowlands which make up the human condition.”
Nina Alonso Hathaway, editor in chief of Constellations: A Journal of Poetry & Fiction has accepted two of my pieces of micro fiction: “Testament” and “More Memories for Sale” for inclusion in the next issue.
Zvi Sesling’s 10 By 10 Flash has accepted my micro story entitled “Pariah” for publication for its first year anniversary edition in June, 2023.
One of my earliest short stories, “Valley of Gold,” was accepted and published in what is now a defunct publication known as “Separate Worlds.”
Although I can no longer find my story on this site, I’ve discovered a unique market called “Defuncted: A Collection of Abandoned Things” with this simple mission:
“This project started because I wanted to find a forever home for some of my work that had previously appeared in journals which have now gone defunct. . . . [T]hat’s what you’re going to find here, short fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction that has been “abandoned” by the journals which previously published them and is no longer available to read.
Defuncted has accepted “Valley of Gold” for republication. It will appear soon in a future issue.
Zvi Sesling’s 10 By 10 Flash has accepted my micro story entitled “Dipteran Relief” for publication in an upcoming edition.
